Welcome 2018-2019 Techkids and Families

Welcome to the 2018-2019 school year! We are excited and honored to work with new students and families.  We have been working on setting up routines and expectations in the classroom. We have many seating choices, with flexible seating options, and are encouraging the students to figure out where they work best.

The past two weeks we have done a series of activities to get to know one another. With 50 students and 4 teachers, we have had many names to learn. In addition, we have started assessments to know every learner. We have done reading, spelling and math assessments, along with some beginning Writer’s Notebook entries.

We are eager to start more lessons on 5th grade content and standards. Please feel free to email us if you have any questions.
