Digital Note Taking
Since the beginning of the school year we have used sticky notes to keep track of our thinking during reading, to collect notes or information and to keep track of important information. This week we started using a site called Padlet as a digital alternative to our beloved sticky notes!
Padlet is a digital wall where you can place sticky notes. What’s amazing about digital sticky notes is we can add hotlinks, images and video clips to our notes. In this note, Spencer was able to add the link to the source where he found the answer.
We practiced using Padlet during reading. Instead of keeping track of our thinking on regular sticky notes, we used Padlet instead. We also used Padlet during social studies. We asked questions about the Revolutionary War and researched the answers. We linked the website we found the answer on to our digital sticky notes. Check our questions and answsers!
